About Us |
VRA seeks supporting sponsor organisationsThe VRA is recognised as a key player in the UK-wide approach to promoting rehabilitation and return-to-work for disabled people.
The Vocational Rehabilitation Association, (VRA), exists to help people working in the field of disability and employment to develop their personal and professional practice and to maintain their awareness of a broad range of disability issues. Members work in the public, private and voluntary sectors, and include both disabled and non-disabled colleagues. At present our activities rely upon the voluntary efforts of our members. We offer the opportunity to exchange information, meet others working in the field and to be involved in the development of national standards for practitioners. We produce an e-journal, which keeps members in touch with the latest developments. Feel free to have a look around our website and find out more about our history & aims, our constitution and our code of ethics for practitioners. Our current activities include involvement in the development of National Occupational Standards for people working in disability and employment and related areas. By aligning your organisation with ours, you will be excellently placed to have some influence at the highest levels as we move, with our partners, towards developing national standards for service delivery in the field of vocational rehabilitation. So why not join us, please visit our how to join page and find out more about our membership categories. |
